Hey, have you heard about the Kuratsa Mayor dance from Samar, Leyte, and Biliran in the Philippines?
It's a traditional dance that's really lively and energetic! The name "Kuratsa" actually means "to dance" in the Waray language, and "Mayor" refers to the mayor or chief of the town.
So, what's the dance like? It's got intricate footwork, beautiful hand movements, and dynamic hip swivels! The dancers wear traditional attire, like colorful baro't saya for women and barong tagalog for men.
