New Haven FL9's meet! Cape Cod Central Canal Day Train - 9/20/2025

On 9/20/2025 the Cape Cod Central ran special excursions from the Canal Day event in Buzzards Bay but also had a dinner train from Hyannis that evening. This meant two separate Cape Cod Central trainsets would be running on the Cape Main at the same time. With that in mind I set out to catch the Canal Day train meeting the dinner train at Sagamore. Both trains featured FL9's and I believe for the first time ever the FL9's met each other while leading separate trains. This is rare because both FL9's are usually together on one train. This video shows both trains running along the Cape Main and of course the meet at Sagamore.
