Hi, in this video I repaired my Omega hunter pocket watch from the 1920s. This watch looks in good condigion but the main spring was broken. I replaced the broken spring with a new one. The result was fantastic!
I bought this watch only for $100. The previous owner loved this watch and this watch has been serviced by a professional watchmaker. So the overall condition was excellent. This movement is simple and easy to overhaul. However, if I broke parts, it will be very difficult to find a new one. So I didn't do more than I needed at this time. I may revisit this watch later to make the details great.
I am not a watchmaker. I'm doing this for entertainment. Any advice will be welcome. Thank you!
