Mango season is here and surti people loves aamras with surati sarasiya khaja. Very flaky and very spicy khaja goes amazingly well with aamras. Sarasiya khaja also served with fresh lime, dash of fresh lime juice make it more tempting.
Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Oil (50 Ml)
1/4 Cup Water (50 ML)
1/4 tsp Baking soda (Do not add more else Khaja Will turn Red)
All Purpose Flour (Approax 130 Grams)
1/4 tsp White Chilly Powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt to Taste
Note:-
Do Not add More Soda, You Can also skip soda.
Fry Khaja on Very low flame untill all the bubbles goes away. (Very Important).
Remove Khaja or Perforated Plate or on Wire rack so all excess oil drips away.
There are two to three ways of making this sarasiya khaja, Today I am sharing such recipe which will give you perfect sarasiya khaja and which has exact same texture and taste like surat's sarasiya khaja.
