Este 5 de octubre de 2025 el Día Nacional de la Zalsa en su edición 41 será recordado como uno que trajo consigo muchos cambios en favor del concierto que desde el 2000 la ley número 100 decretó el tercer domingo de marzo de cada año como el “Día de la Salsa en Puerto Rico”. Este año, la celebración se hizo coincidir con el natalicio de “El Sonero Mayor”, Ismael Rivera. No obstante, nada distrajo al salsero “de la mata” que ajustó su agenda para cumplir con la fecha asignada y llegar hasta la Plaza de la Independencia.
