I somehow missed Tamron's set of very affordable f2.8 prime lenses, but finally got a chance to play around with 2 of them and put them through some tests. For under $300, are they sharp? Are they well made? Can they handle challenging conditions? With the similar, brand new $600 Sony versions being released, those are exactly the questions I wanted to answer... and hopefully this video will help you make a decision as well.
