The big blue saw is quite interesting. As a "vintage" Husqvarna fan this g288 means two things, FIRST it's a cool saw, based on a solid design as the g660 is. Second there now is a sort of parts to keep the original 288/281 series going for years to come :) Going to run and tweak on the g288 for a few weeks and ten report :)
The OTHER saw is one that beat the odd's. FIRST it was built on a 2012 Husqvarna 372xp "X-Torq" botton end & plastic. Second it has a 52mm top end from 2014. It's 2021 almost 2022. Moving on to 7 years of service with that saw. I had used it for a couple of firewood seasons, gave it away to a "new" land owner who needed to clear cut and generally clean up their place. It came back broken.....the pull starter. I fixed that and put it into service again as u see. :)
