News Corp Europe Correspondent Sophie Elsworth discusses the protests in the streets of the UK filled with people “angry” over the number of asylum seekers being housed in hotels.
Currently, 32,000 people are being housed in taxpayer-funded hotels, with an eight per cent increase since 2024.
“There are a lot of people very angry about these asylum seekers coming in, being housed in these hotels,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“This is an issue that is continuing to fester in the UK.
“It seems that Keir Starmer has failed to get a grip on the issues here with migration.”
