Homemade Chicken Bread | Bakery Style Chicken Bread Recipe

📋 Ingredients:
For Dough:
All-purpose flour – 2 cups(250 gm)
Instant yeast –1& half tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Warm milk – 1 cup
Oil – 3 tbsp
Egg – 1
For Chicken Filling:
Boneless chicken (boiled & shredded) – 1 ½ cup
Onion – 1 medium (chopped)
Green chilli -3 (chopped)
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Salt – ½ tsp (adjust to taste)
Oil – 2 tbsp
For Topping:
Egg yolk (for brushing)
Black & white sesame seeds
Sliced olives & capsicum
👩🍳 Method:
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it rest for 10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, oil, and egg. Knead well until soft and smooth.
3. Cover and let the dough rise for 1–2 hours until it doubles in size.
Step 2: Make the Chicken Filling
1. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and sauté.
2. Add shredded chicken, salt, pepper, green chili, crushed cumin seeds Cook for 2–3 minutes. Let it cool.
Step 3: Assemble the Bread
1. Divide dough into 2–3 portions. Roll out each portion into an oval shape.
2. Place chicken filling in the center.
3. Cut diagonal strips on both sides of the dough, then fold over alternately to form a braid.
4. Brush with egg yolk, sprinkle sesame seeds, and decorate with olives & capsicum.
Step 4: Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
( gas oven) 30- 35 minutes.
