How does one put into words the experience of seeing a man become an instrument of God? One minute, he is just a man. The next, he is the closest to God’s image that a man could ever be.
Imagine what it’s like to turn bread into the body of Christ for the first time? Or what it’s like to look at your hands knowing they’re now able to bring God down to earth, forgive sins and bless the masses?
I cannot imagine this, and that’s why I asked a newly ordained priest these questions. This interview took place one day after his ordination, his passion and joy brought tears to my eyes.
