The TARDIS has arrived in a world of trench warfare, barbed wire, & poison gas: the Western Front, 1917, WW1. The Doctor & his companions are separated from their ship, captured & court-martialled. But all is not as it seems. The Doctor finds himself pitted against impossible odds, the only solution is the unthinkable. He must seek help from those he fears most - his own people, the Time Lords.
