Feather Destructive Behaviour comes in many forms but the one thing you never want to see is frenzied plucking. If a bird is desperately, frantically trying to rip themselves to shreds even when you physically restrain them - you know the bird needs urgent medical intervention.
Junior was clearly too sick to go home and was quickly admitted to hospital. In this video, Mel discusses the case and why she approaches it the way she does. It becomes a team effort to save Junior. Every vet at the clinic and every nurse has had input in this case to get him happier and home again.
