The Brenders version is one of the very best euorpean hot swing titles of the 1940s. Stan Brenders dancing orchestra (Radio Broadcast Bruxelles) was considered as the most modern playing bigband out of the USA. After the german occupation of Belgium Stan Brenders went to Germany and played there with great success. This piece was written by the well known german songwriter Franz Grothe for an UFA Movie "Der singende Tor".
