Cal Maritime Summer Cruise 2023 ~ TSGB

IT IS FINALLY HERE!

This is the 2023 Cal Maritime TSGB Cruise!

Captained by Cal Maritime Graduate(Class of 2000), Samar Bannister led the graduating class of 2023 & 2024 to get underway aboard the TSGB with the new class of freshmen under their wing. The ship was jammed packed as there were two years' worth of seniors on board.



The cadets departed for the following ports:

Vallejo (Cruise Begins) (May 5-May 9)
LA/Long Beach (May 11-May 12)
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (May 16-May 19)
Apia, Samoa (June 5-June 8)
Hilo, Hawaii (June 17-June 20)
Astoria, Oregon (June 30 July 5)
Vallejo (Cruise Ends) (1600 July 7)

This video is longer than I expected, but I am trying to cram 65 days of footage into 20 minutes! There are a lot of moments that I would have loved for them to make their way into the video, but unfortunately, they were left on the cutting room floor. If you would like certain clips or videos from the cruise because you're in them, do not hesitate to reach out!

I dislocated my shoulder on cruise falling down a flight of stairs so unfortunately I was not able to film all the beautiful moments and landmarks in some of our ports, but thankfully my friends and fellow cadets were able to help me fill in the gaps!
