Located 19kms from the hustle of Darjeeling, Lepchajagat is a hidden jewel of North Bengal. The word "Lepcha" means the indigenous inhabitants of the region, and "Jagat" symbolizing "world" or "domain". The place has been made famous for its great view of the Kanchenjunga range. It is the home of Pines and Oaks forests.
