Egg #2 Update: Egg #2 is currently at 38 days of incubation. The normal incubation range is 34–40 days, and an egg is generally considered nonviable after day 40 if no hatch occurs. At this time, there is no visible pip. We continue to watch and wait—but as each hour passes know the likelihood of a successful hatch decreases. A soft reminder that nature writes her own story—as E26 thrives and grows right on pace.
E26 hatched on Day 36, December 18, 2025
The couple here are M15 & F23.

This nest is labeled LE026-B of the Florida State Monitoring Program. It has been monitored since 2007.
