RP Patnaik, also known as Ravindra Prasad Patnaik, is an Indian music director, playback singer and writer. He is predominantly works in Telugu film industry but also works in Tamil and Kannada film industries. He has received many awards like the Filmfare Award and the Nandi Award in Best Music Director category for the movie Nuvvu Nennu and he has also got the Filmfare Award in Best Music Director category for the movie Santhosham. Some of his famous films are Santosham, Jayam and Aa Naluguru and many more..

Patnaik had entered the film industry with a desire to become a film director, and began first as a music director. It was after cinematographer-turned-director. Patnaik made his directorial debut with the 2008 film Andamaina Manasulo.
