A 15 minute video created using Space Engine 0990 running on a PC with an i9-13900KF processor and Palit RTX 4090 graphics.
The black hole in the centre of the Large Magellanic Cloud has only been recently discovered and has been determined to be a "stella mass black hole". Read more about the discovery here: https://www.eso.org/public/news/eso2210/

We spend 15 minutes drifting around this fictional black hole. How it looks and interacts with space-time is based on the latest scientific thinking. We admire the black hole's awesome splendour, noting how the severe gravitational lensing of objects well beyond it create circular artifacts all around it. Dust clouds spiral down into the void beyond the event horizon. Towards the end of the video we dive in closer to the event horizon and hover tantalisingly above it where the whole view becomes distorted (in reality we are thousands of kilometres above it).
The black hole seen in this video is purely fictional as no one has yet imaged the black hole in the LMC. It is created procedurally within the Space Engine software. The universe in the background is based on actual observation and stars and galaxies are in their correct celestial locations.
