Interstellar is one of my favourite films, a bold science fiction epic driven by advanced astrophysics I never thought I would see in a major Hollywood movie. But while the production design team went to great lengths to make the space travel in the film seem plausible, many of the spacecraft designs and orbital maneuvers depicted are... less than realistic. In this episode of Reel Engineering, I'm joined by my good friend Siddharth Kedare from Telesat Canada, who helps me break down the engineering of Interstellar.
