TISM Live at Homebake, Sydney, December 1998.
The song may offend anyone who was close to the deceased, as it reportedly caused much offense to Red Hot Chili Peppers Bass Player Flea, who was close to River Phoenix.
Please do not construe this song as satirising the deaths of any of those mentioned in it, it is actually a commentary on celebrity worship.
TISM play into the Aussie larrikin behaviour of having to one-up anyone with attempts at intoxication, taking it to its ultimate logical conclusion.
TISM is a seven-piece anonymous alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia.
The group was formed in late 1982 by vocalist/drummer Humphrey B. Flaubert, bassist/vocalist Jock Cheese and keyboardist/vocalist Eugene de la Hot Croix Bun, and enjoyed a large underground following.

TISM is an acronym of This Is Serious Mum.
