Ézékiel (25 ans), jeune vidéaste gabonais talentueux, vit sous le toit de Maurice, son père autoritaire d’une cinquantaine d’années, qui n’hésite pas à user de son influence pour freiner ses ambitions artistiques.
Acculé par des difficultés financières, Ézékiel est contraint d’intégrer à contrecœur l’entreprise forestière familiale.

Envoyé dans l’arrière-pays pour sa première mission, il découvre que son père prévoit d’y exploiter une forêt sacrée, lieu de vie de communautés autochtones en harmonie avec la nature, dont l’habitat est désormais menacé de disparition.

Au fil de son immersion, Ézékiel pressent que les motivations de son père ne sont pas seulement économiques. Derrière ce projet destructeur semble se cacher un drame familial ancien, enfoui dans les mémoires depuis l’ère coloniale.

Ézékiel (25), a young and talented Gabonese filmmaker, lives under the roof of his father Maurice, a stern and influential man in his fifties who does not hesitate to sabotage his son's artistic ambitions.

Facing financial hardship, Ézékiel is left with no choice but to reluctantly join the family’s logging company.
As part of his first assignment, he is sent deep into the interior, where he discovers that his father plans to exploit a sacred forest — home to indigenous communities living in harmony with nature — now under threat of destruction.

Through his journey, Ézékiel begins to sense that his father's motivations go beyond local development. Buried beneath this project lies a mysterious family tragedy, rooted in the colonial past.
