Ingredients:
Hawaiian rolls
Marinara sauce
Bonless skinless chicken cutlets
3 eggs
2 cups of flour
Garlic salt
Pepper
Salt
Onion powder
(season to your liking, I used about 1 tbs of each in the flour and 1/2 tbs of each on all the chicken)
Butter
Parsley
Vegetable oil or any oil you prefer
Pat dry your chicken cutlets and season both sides with garlic salt, pepper, salt and onion powder. Take two cups of flour and season with the same seasonings you put on the chicken. Crack 3 eggs in a bowl. Heat your oil on medium to high heat while you prepare your chicken. Take the chicken and dip first in flour, then egg, then flour again. Once oil is hot enough place chicken in and cook 5 to 7 min per side depending on the thickness. You are looking for a golden brown color. Once chicken is cooked place it on a rack to drain excess oil. Pre heat oven to 350°. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half. Put a layer of Marinara sauce first. Just use a thin layer so they don't get soggy, you can always put some on the side to dip. Next place your chicken on top of the sauce, add cheese and cover with the top buns. Melt some butter and add parsley. Brush a light layer of the butter mixture on the top buns. Bake in the oven at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. As always this is how I do it feel free to tweak this recipe to your liking. Enjoy! 😊
