PMCM Magic Monty Reed MagiFest 2023 The First Time any Magician Ever Performed the PMCM (Perpetual Motion Coin Myth) Live on Stage in Front of Other Magicians at a Magic Convention. It happened again a year and a half later in Las Vegas at the Magic Live convention.
In 1978 Paul Harris wrote a book called "Las Vegas Close Up" where he described a Magic Feat he considered humanly imposible. He offerd that if any Magician would perform this coin flourish, he would put that Magician in his next book. A few years go by and he rupublishes the description and the offer in another book.
A total of over 40 years go by and then Magic Monty Reed performs this after hearing about it from world famous Magician Louie Foxx.
Magic Monty Reed has performed this live infront of audiences now over 10,000 times and, at the request of Paul Harris, started to teach others to perform it as well.
This is like the four minute mile of Magic. Before Magic Monty Reed performed it, it was considered impossible and that noone could do it.
After he did, he has been able to teach 84 people to do it.
