A sunday afternoon's visit at Mueggelturm in Berlin Koepenick, while French artists Clémentine Roy and Gaelle Boucand are proudly opening their art installation project "SPRECHKONTAKT MUEGGELTURM". This project is based on a technical experiment of the year 2005 where technicians managed to exploit an infrared connection for transmitting speech between Mueggelturm and Woltersdorfer Turm over a 10 km distance.
The installation of the Mueggelturm now is connecting the two towers by the art of photography. Amazingly this is done with light again - not infrared as in the first experiment, but full coloured light in digital photographies/prints of the exhibits at the Wolterdorfer Turm.
