Golden Ears Provincial Park is one of BC's most popular provincial parks, with highly rated hiking trails, well-serviced campgrounds, beautiful green mountains and beautiful Alouette Lake.
A nice 12 km day trip is paddled from South Beach of Alouette Lake to North Beach.
It is common to have very strong southerly winds on Alouette Lake in the summer afternoons. The wind usually starts around 11:30, so turn back to South Beach and paddle into the headwind.
