Laikipia Woman Arraigned Over Fake Identity and Fraudulent TSC Job Scheme

Caroline Makena Kinyua has been arraigned before Magistrate Mark Ekubi to face six criminal counts, including fraudulent acquisition of public property and personation. Prosecutors allege that Ms. Kinyua, who used the alias Kairuthi Caroline Kubai, posed as another person to secure a teaching job at Doldol Primary School and fraudulently drew KSh 292,130 in salaries from the Teachers Service Commission.

The charges detail an elaborate scheme of personation, including the alleged use of a fake KCSE certificate, primary education certificate, KRA PIN, and national ID to secure employment. She pleaded not guilty to all charges and was released on cash bail of KSh 150,000.
