I had this little shimpaku juniper sitting off in a corner and decided to have some fun with it. I think anyone that is willing to try this will see how easy it is to get something interesting. There is no right or wrong, work with the tree to see what it offers. From me I like cascades so decided go for a windswept style. I will remove the wire in about a year and refine the foliage then.
Note: I used copper wire here, but recommend going with aluminum. It is much easier to work with on smaller trees where you might want to bend it more than once when styling.
