bleeding hearts - ft. POPY

this song has been somewhere in my mind for a while... but it never really took shape. it was missing a story, and it wasn't a story really about me or any of my relationships.

but after working with POPY & ROSE on the off the hook project, i kind of fell in love with POPY? her character is very... specific, and has a certain... energy? she's not quite as straightforwardly cute... her voice has a bit of grit and complication to it, and you can push her into some emotionally complex roles in ways you wouldn't always expect.

so this song took on some new life... and a new story... stay tuned for more POPY & ROSE content? maybe?
