EBONYI AIPORT TO RESUME FLIGHT OPERATIONS IN A MATTER OF DAYS - AVIATION COMMISSIONER
The Chuba Okadigbo Cargo and International Airport, Onueke, Ebonyi State, will resume full flight operations in the coming days, as marking of the newly asphalted runway is the only remaining work to be done.
The Honourable Commissioner for Aviation, Ebonyi State - Amb. Mrs. Martha Ngozi Obichukwu made this known today, during her press briefing at the airport.
Amb. Obichukwu in praising the dexterity of Governor Francis Nwifuru in ensuring that the Airport runway is completed, noted that the marking of the runway would have been completed if not for the rainy weather that kept the contractors from working today.
She however gave passionate assurance that the lighting and the marking of the runway will be completed soon, and the airport to be fully utilized for the good of Ebonyi people.
