So this is the ''production video'' of @therockshow. I really wanted to post this because I love watching behind-the-scenes stuff, especially when it comes to AMVs. I not only included the raw footage that I used for the AMV, but I also labelled each clip with its corresponding episode (*although I just noticed an error; Davis's clips from 1:02-1:07 should say Episode 02, not eight. I was copying and pasting the text and forgot to change that one apparently. I've fixed that in the downloadable version.)
In the end, ''@therockshow'' took about 25 hours to complete, over the course of six days (which were spread out over two months, lol)

Programs:
Sony Vegas 13.0 (primary program; used for layout, timing, and three masks)
Adobe After Effects CS4 (majority of the masking and some minor effects)
Photoshop CS4 (still image editing; ex: 0:38)
Some notes!
~ In the first verse (0:13-0:33) I wanted everything to look cohesive, like it was part of an actual scene. It was surprisingly challenging to find workable clips of Davis in his everyday clothes, though, so the consistency is not perfect because he's wearing his backpack in one scene. I also had to edit out his fur collar at 0:21 because I couldn't find a good ''reaction'' clip of him in his everyday clothes. I'm not as happy with Rika's scenes from 0:23-0:30 because I ended up just having to lift them straight from an episode. In my ''vision'' I wanted to mask around her walking into the club, but I couldn't find the right clips and my attempt at working with what I could find just ruined the whole video, so I changed the clips in the final hour.
~ I'm still a little torn about how 0:56 looks. My idea was that I wanted to include Rika at least once for the ''fell in love'' line to kind of express the idea that the feelings were mutual, but I'm not sure how good that blush looks on her face, lol.
~ When I edited a still image, I didn't see the need to always include ''after'' images. For the most part, you can just see where I edited any images, like in the final clip. All I did for the final background (1:43) was crop out Raremon's foot a little and then paint over the rest of the image with black to create a gradient effect. Most of the backgrounds were pretty easy to either modify or create, and I didn't spend more than 15mins on any given background. (If only the masking had been that easy...)
