How to start a 1927 Bugatti type 35C

Step by step how to start a Grand Prix Bugatti

1- Open the oil pipe tap for the blower from the small tank in left side of the bulkhead (Just 45° twist).
2- Open the air pipe tap to allow the air pump work. Make a 90° twist from the upper tap.
3- Pump air till the pressure gauge marks no less than 50 grams.
4- Close the the air pump tap.
5- Open the fuel tap.
6- Open the carburator compartment. Check the float position till drops fuel.
7- Switch on the ignition. Start the engine.
8- In case there´s no starter pull back the magneto distribuitor and use the starting handle. When the engine gets started settle back the advance lever to the appropriate fireing position.
9- Open 90° the air pipe tap for the engine´s air pump. The lower tap.
10- In case the oil gauge is not marking pressure, pump oil from the oil tank under the passenger seat with the handle from the laft side of the cockpit till the gauge needle moves. No less than 1 kg when the engine is accelerateing. Repeat this operation if the preassure decreases.

4000 RPM maximum recommendable. 5000 RPM if you need to win.
