Michelin Bib Gourmand Taipei recommended shop, this humble and small shop located in a little alley near to the Exit 6 of MRT Zhongshan. Even though I reached there around 12.30PM, this shop still attracts a long queue of office workers and shoppers at peak hours. With the concept of open kitchen, you get to see the chefs passionately and busy making the dim sum, dumplings and noodles. Though the shop may not be spacious, it still offers a great dining experience for guests that looking for good tasty food, and friendly services is definitely a bonus.⠀

Though the crowd may be there, but the system is pretty fast. You picked the menu from the front desk, filled up your order, and they will provide you a number. Once your number is called, you’ll get to be seated and the menu will be served after a short wait (not really long, honestly). Lots of variety from the menu, and you’ll get to see people have their own set of preferences, ranging from noodles, all the way to dumplings.⠀

📝Ordered 「牛肉捲餅 」- Beef scallion pancake roll - Solid and delicious! That’s the two words that immediately came across my mind when took the first bite. The beef, and little sweet sauce which I think could be Hoisin sauce, solidly and generously wrapped by the scallion pancake. For me, this is definitely the superstar among all.⠀

📝Ordered 「豆沙鍋餅」 - Red bean paste pancake - Awesome. Highly recommended to eat while it’s hot, and that’s the beauty of red bean paste pancake. Thin pancake with red bean paste filling in the middle, with the sweetness right on the spot. Not overly sweat nor greasy, this pancake is definitely must order.⠀

📝Ordered 「蝦仁蒸餃」 - Prawn steamed dumpling - 6 huge prawn dumpling served in bamboo steamers, wrapped with solid prawn meat, and you can still taste some of the soup juice oozing out whenever you take a bite. You can take it right away, or paired it with vinegar and ginger (usual method for people to eat dumplings), or with chili sauce, all up to you to grab from the sauce counter.⠀

📝Ordered 「酸辣湯」 - Hot and sour soup - Pretty good. Not as sour as I thought, which I think it could be due to the shop owners would like customer to add the vinegar to own preferences. Great stuff if you’re craving for sour stuff on either hot, cold, no-appetite, full-with-appetite day.⠀
