A group of staff from Dearne Valley College volunteered as TEAM DVC to take part in a charity Dragon Boat Race at the Manvers Boathouse in Rotherham, against teams from businesses and ogranisations across the region. In aid of the PHASE Worldwide charity, TEAM DVC raced in three heats, taking advantage of the beautiful lake and fantastic watersport facilities available at the Manvers Boathouse, whilst staff and students worked to provide food and refreshments at the on-site, College-managed Boathouse Cafe.
