Today, the wind was coming from the NW, which is not ideal for flying at Breaza (Buzau). This is because the wind passes over the ridge on the right, creating significant turbulence. Soaring becomes very challenging in the area to the right of the takeoff point, as the slope and space are very limited, with no good landing spot in case you fail to stay airborne. Additionally, landing in the usual designated area involves descending into turbulent air, again due to the unsuitable wind direction. In conclusion, I do not recommend flying here when the wind is coming from the NW, especially for less experienced pilots.
