Our Hard Drive Failed... And Took Everything With It

Our Australia travel vlog footage—3 months worth, from Perth to Adelaide—is completely gone! Our hard drive failed and now we’re in recovery limbo, hoping a $1,750 service can save it. Lost footage, broken hearts, and a huge lesson learned about hard drives, data backup and travel content... 😢

This isn’t the vlog we planned, but we wanted to be real with you. Mandurah to Adelaide was our favourite stretch of the journey so far, and to think it might be lost forever is heartbreaking. If you’re storing any photos, videos or memories on just one drive—PLEASE back them up... 💾

We're still hopeful though. The recovery company gave us an 80% chance, and we’re clinging to that. In the meantime, we’ll be putting out a few different videos and would love your ideas—comment below with what you’d like to see during these next two weird weeks! 😅👇
