This is the biggest Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever held — the JBL Charge 5, priced around ₹8,000 during sales with card discounts. As expected from JBL, it delivers a full-on party vibe with 40W total output (30W woofer + 10W tweeter + dual passive radiators). It gets really loud—so loud that I sometimes fear the neighbors might call the cops—but distortion appears at full volume, and bass quality drops slightly beyond 80%. It features Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C charging, and offers up to 20 hours of battery life, though it takes about 4 hours to charge. The upcoming JBL Charge 6 improves this with 24-hour backup, faster charging, and 45W output, plus there’s even a Wi-Fi variant for direct lossless streaming from apps like Spotify or Apple Music.
