What is happening house lover's and explorers! Thought I would upload another huge commercial site that I have on file as last week's Radio rentals explore had many locals commenting including those who worked there. They shared their memories and filled in a lot of the blanks I was wondering about. So today's video is of the former Marleston TAFE college. Originally built in the early 1960s as the "Building and furnishing trade school" it soon expanded in 1976 to become the Marleston college of further education. It was last known as the Marleston TAFE college and closed permanently in 2009. The site sat vacant for 15 years and in 2018 plans for the now new Marleston village were put in place to include business and residential buildings. I explored the place in January of 2021. The site had squatters living in there and it was pretty well beat up but another huge maze like location perfect for apocalyptic movies made for a good explore.
