The tram itself is more than just a ride. It’s a moving museum, lovingly preserved by the Asociación Amigos del Tranvía, a group of volunteers who’ve kept these original trams alive for over forty years.

The ride lasts about 20 minutes and it’s completely free. During the trip, you’ll learn stories about Buenos Aires’ past and experience what public transport felt like more than a century ago.

Caballito has that perfect mix of tradition and daily life, and the tram is a piece of that rhythm.
