Description:
The concepts of heterogeneity and anisotropy and full-tensor permeaility is first discussed. Then we upscale 1D heterogeneous permeability with analytically. We finally develop a scheme to estimate range of effective (upscaled) permeability for multi-dimensional domains, and implement it in a simple excel file.
