In today’s video, I’m talking about non-monogamy, why it scares people so much, and how quickly that fear can turn into judgement, moral panic, and even a sense of moral superiority. I’m sharing some of the comments I’ve received recently — the dramatic ones, the funny ones, and the ones that say a lot more about the commenter’s inner world than about non-monogamy itself.

As a therapist and someone who actually lives this lifestyle, I want to break down what’s really going on psychologically when people react so strongly. Why does non-monogamy feel threatening? Why do some people jump straight to calling it “wrong”? And how can we understand these reactions without taking them personally?
