STEM education in vocational classrooms: The STEM Bridging Curriculum composing of 5 modules have been piloted in 5 Science-based Vocational Colleges in Thailand. The curriculum is based on a constructivist approach and set scenarios for students to construct their own learning through enquiry-based activities using a series of learning tools and strategies. It also focuses on the 6 STEM skills – critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, communication, creative thinking and research.
This project is a collaboration between the Office of the Vocational Education Commission and British Council, supported by the Newton Fund.
