Gimmelwald is a very originally preserved mountain farming village with around 100 inhabitants.
Here, they live in close contact with nature and our animals. The village is characterized by flower-decorated chalets in front of the four-thousand-meter high mountain massif of the Jungfrau - Top of Europe.
The sound of cowbells is usually the only thing that changes the peaceful atmosphere.
-A small village in the Bernese Oberland at 1367 m above sea level
-The approach is spectacular, the aerial cable car rises from Stechelberg along the cliff walls past magnificent waterfalls.
Gimmelwald is located in Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn area, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Area.
-The Alpine Village is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps
-It is one of the last car-free villages in Switzerland.
-The houses are decorated with flowers, a cheese shop in the middle of the village, the cattle and birds near the houses graze quietly in this little Eden on earth.
-Gimmelwald is like something out of a fairy tale.
