VAN TOUR (Real World) | Mountain Bike Van Tour

After much interest, here it is! Our real world 'life on the road' van tour. Here we have a SWB (Short Wheel Base) VWT6 transporter. Originally a panel van, we self converted this soulless van into an off grid adventure rigged explorer. We have internal storage for our Haibike electric mountain bikes, sleeping room for two, and an amazing Front Runner roof rack which looks after many more additions. To often we have been away on adventures, and the subject of filming a tour has always come up, but never happened. We made it our missing to get this shot, and being that we found it was always in a bit of a mess, we decided to go for a ‘Real World’ van tour. For that reason, here you have a life on the road video tour of our mess, setup, and those all important accessories.

All along we have always said to people that we are not carpenters, we are DIY'ers that have given this a go. We have designed and build a purpose build van that works for us. It may not necessarily work for others, but we hope this tour gives you some ideas and an insight into some solutions that may work for you.

In summary, this vehicle has been designed to get out, get exploring and make memories!
