This massive Chinese corporation has been around for 27 years and produces everything from batteries to forklift trucks, buses, trains, and now cars under the "Build Your Dreams" (BYD) brand. BYD has recently launched in the UK with its first all-electric crossover hatchback, the Atto 3, and now we take a look at the Tang, the firm’s large seven-seat SUV.

With a 86kWh battery and a range of 248 miles, the Tang will be looking to compete in the electric SUV category with cars such as the forthcoming Volvo EX90 and Kia EV9, not to mention more conventional seven-seat luxury SUVs such as the Audi Q7 and Hyundai Santa Fe
