지리산 1박 2일_천왕봉 일출과 소지봉

백무동으로 시작해서 한신계곡과 연하선경을 거쳐 장터목 대피소에서 1박을 하고 천왕봉에 다녀 왔습니다.(영어자막)

🏔️거리: 약 22.35km
🏔️국립공원 답게 등산로가 잘 정비되어있지만 등산화는 필수이다. 가는길 중간중간 너덜바위 구간이 있어서 위험한 구간이 제법 있다. 한신계곡구간은 초반 5km정도 까지는 완만한 경사로 계곡 사이를 구름다리로 넘어다니는 재미가 있어 그렇게 힘들지 않았지만 한신계곡이 시작하는 지점부터 세석대피소까지 이어지는 고강도 경사구간은 심박수 조절을 잘 하면서 올라야 할 것이다. 세석대피소부터 장터목대피소까지 이어지는 주 능선은 오름 구간이 몇번 나오지만 그렇게 고강도의 경사도 아니고 길지도 않아 차분히 체력 관리를 하면서 가면 된다. 장터목을 지나 제석봉 가는 길은 무지막지한 고강도 경사까지는 아니지만 그래도 제법 경사가 있는 길이다. 제석봉에서 천왕봉까지의 길 역시 경사가 제법 있고 바위와 돌계단이 많아 호흡 관리를 하면 좋겠다. 장터목에서 소지봉으로 가는 길은 제법 경사가 있는 구간이 계속 나오고 소지봉부터 하동바위 지나서까지 이어지는 좁은 돌계단길의 고경사 구간은 매우 힘든 구간이였으니 무릎을 조심해야 한다.
🏔️장터목 대피소에서 1박을 하고 새벽에 일어나 천왕봉 일출을 맞이하러간다. 예상시간보다 빨리 도착한 탓에 보온 의류를 입고 바위에 걸터 앉아 일출을 기다린다. 옆에 앉으신 선생님 한분은 지리산을 통틀어 약 15회 이상 오셨는데 이렇게까지 깨끗한 하늘은 처음이라시며 지금까지 경험하지 못한 일출을 볼 수 있을거라는 기대와 복 받으신분이라는 말씀을 해주신다. 첫 천왕봉 일출은 너무나도 깨끗한 하늘에 올라와서 지금까지의 어떤 일출과도 비교 할 수 없을 정도로 예뻤다. 행복한 하루였다.

Title: Jirisan 1 Night 2 Days_Cheonwangbong Sunrise and Sojibong

We started at Baekmudong, passed through Hanshin Valley and Yeonhaseonggyeong, stayed overnight at Jangteomok Shelter, and reached Cheonwangbong. (English subtitles)

🏔️Distance: Approximately 22.35km
🏔️As expected from a national park, the hiking trail is well-maintained, but hiking boots are essential. There are quite a few dangerous sections due to the rugged rocks along the way. The first 5km or so of the Hanshin Valley section wasn't too difficult, as the gentle slope made it fun to cross the valley via sky bridges. However, the intensely steep section from the beginning of Hanshin Valley to Seseok Shelter requires careful heart rate control. The main ridge from Seseok Shelter to Jangteomok Shelter has a few uphill sections, but they aren't that steep or long, so you can calmly manage your stamina as you ascend. The path from Jangteomok to Jeseokbong Peak isn't terribly steep, but it's still quite steep. The path from Jeseokbong Peak to Cheonwangbong Peak is also quite steep, with many rocks and stone steps, so breathing management is recommended. The path from Jangteomok to Sojibong Peak has several steep sections, and the steep section of narrow stone steps from Sojibong Peak to past Hadongbawi Rock is very difficult, so watch your knees. 🏔️After spending a night at the Jangteomok Shelter, I woke up at dawn and headed to Cheonwangbong Peak to watch the sunrise. Arriving earlier than expected, I donned warm clothing and perched on a rock, waiting for the sunrise. A teacher sitting next to me said he'd been to Jirisan Mountain at least 15 times, but this was the first time he'd seen such clear skies. He expressed his anticipation and blessings for seeing a sunrise unlike any he'd ever seen before. The first sunrise at Cheonwangbong Peak, rising against such a clear sky, was incomparably beautiful. It was a blissful day.
