✈️ Continuing my Finnair A320 Destination Challenge with flight AY1661 into Madrid (LEMD).
A beautiful dawn approach on ILS RWY 32R, but I flared a bit too early and floated well past the TDZ.
Thankfully, Madrid’s long 3,500m runway gave me plenty of room — and the touchdown came out to a reasonable -188 ft/min.
Dawn arrivals always have a special atmosphere in MSFS 2024, even when the landing isn’t perfectly on point!
