i've had this unit laying around for a few years, its all working however the sound is rather thin and cheap. I'm not a great fan of philips boomboxes from the late eighties as the speakers are poor and the plastic cassette mechensism is plain nasty....but it works. So I set about upgrading the front (mono) bass speakers as well as the side stereo full range units, the plastic fake tweeter was drilled out and I put one from some redundant Logitek speakers in its place. Finished in a plastic rubber spray, I used two cans but reallly needed a third but the result isnt too bad to be honest.
