Using the Secrets Store CSI Driver with an Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) cluster allows you to access secrets stored in AWS Secrets Manager and mount them as volumes in your Kubernetes pods. This approach provides a secure and flexible way to manage sensitive information such as passwords, tokens, and keys.
Prerequisites
1. AWS EKS Cluster: An existing EKS cluster.
2. AWS Secrets Manager: Secrets stored in AWS Secrets Manager.
3. IAM Permissions: Proper IAM permissions to access the secrets.
4. kubectl: Configured to interact with your EKS cluster.
5. Helm: Installed to manage Kubernetes applications.
