A grey day in January - and quite fresh too - but i nevertheless enjoyed the open spaces of Northern Groningen. Aduard and the scarce remnants of its once very large & rich monastery. The picturesque little wierde settlement of Fransum. The 'borg Piloersema'. And the vast vistas of course.
As usual, some route information provided.
