In today's fingerstyle acoustic guitar lesson, we learn how to play "More Than Words" by Extreme. Besides being one of the biggest acoustic rock ballads of all time, it's also incredibly fun to play and instructive for your guitar technique and fingerstyle playing abilities. This song heavily utilizes anticipation and Nuno Bettencourt masterfully weaves a hybrid pinch and strum technique to create rhythimc interest. Lastly, this guitar part is a masterclass in voice leading and movement between the bass and chords.
